Sunlight Language School is a team of teachers and specialists united by a love of languages, care for students, and a commitment to making learning engaging, clear, and inspiring. Working schedule and teaching format
We work from Monday to Friday. The school offers groups with different schedules and class intensity: intensive courses, extensive courses, and private lessons. Each teacher manages their own groups, so the workload depends on the number of groups and the intensity of the classes. This allows for a flexible timetable and working hours arrangement.
Pay and employment conditions
The level of pay depends on the number of working hours, lessons taught, and the agreed workload. We discuss the employment conditions with each candidate in advance and choose the most suitable working format. Depending on the position, schedule, and selected type of collaboration, we offer:
- monthly pay according to the workload and lessons taught;
- the possibility of a permanent employment contract (contrato indefinido);
- the possibility of working as a self-employed collaborator with invoice-based payment for the lessons taught.
Main requirements for candidates
Requirements may vary depending on the position; however, for teaching roles the main criteria are:
- a university degree in philology, linguistics, education, or related fields;
- specialised training, certificates, courses, or a Master’s degree in teaching languages as a foreign language;
- experience teaching foreign students;
- experience working with groups of different levels is considered an advantage;
- responsibility, organisational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
