Sunlight Language School was founded in 2017 by Ricardo González. With more than 14 years of experience teaching Spanish to international students, he created a learning environment where studying Spanish is easy and engaging, and every lesson becomes an inspiring journey.
Today, Sunlight is a team of dedicated professionals: our teachers and consultants guide students through every stage of the process, supporting not only language learning but also adaptation to life in Spain.

Our history
Our journey began in 2017 with a small Spanish school in Barcelona. Thanks to a passion for teaching, personal attention to every student, and a genuine love for the Spanish language, Sunlight quickly earned trust and recognition, becoming a place where students from all over the world discover Spanish and the culture of Spain.
Today, thanks to the dedication and support of hundreds of students, Sunlight brings together two schools in Barcelona and two schools in Valencia, offering a welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity to practice the language in two unique Spanish cities.

We are proud of our team of teachers, all native Spanish speakers with extensive experience in teaching international students.
All of our teachers hold specialized degrees, international certifications, and a genuine passion for their profession.
Each teacher is personally selected by the school’s director, Ricardo González, based on his experience and high standards of quality. Thanks to this, Sunlight works only with professionals who combine academic excellence with genuine care for their students.

Our capabilities
Our academies are equipped with modern classrooms, air conditioning, and all the necessary resources. The classrooms are spacious and designed for groups of up to 15 students, creating a comfortable learning environment.
We use the best study materials, including the Aula Plus textbook, and apply the communicative method, which helps students start speaking Spanish quickly in real-life situations.
We offer training in different formats: group and individual classes on-site at our school, and for distance learning we have developed online Spanish courses.

Online Spanish courses

DELE exam preparation
The DELE preparation program develops all the key skills: grammar, vocabulary, oral and written expression, and listening comprehension.
Classes are organized according to the official criteria of the Instituto Cervantes and include practice with real exam tasks. Special attention is given to test structure, time management, and exam strategies.
Training is conducted in groups with experienced teachers who will help you build a preparation strategy and pass the exam with confidence.

Ricardo González
Ricardo González is the director of Sunlight Language School, and his passion is teaching Spanish. He is passionate about languages, so he enjoys both learning and teaching them. For more than 14 years, Ricardo worked as a Spanish teacher for international students, and his creativity and passion led him to establish his own language school, Sunlight, built on his knowledge and experience. During this time, he has managed to carry out numerous projects and initiatives:
- publishing several books and manuals on Spanish language learning;
- presenting 3 workshops at international teachers' conferences;
- working for renowned publishers such as PONS and SM Ediciones;
- teaching Spanish to more than 10,000 students;
- training more than 200 teachers;
- creating 2 successful YouTube channels;
- launching an Instagram account dedicated to teaching Spanish;
- developing a Spanish podcast channel;
- and now, he is introducing an innovative project designed for students to learn Spanish through music.
He is also a DELE examiner and lecturer of courses for Spanish teachers. His ultimate goal is to make Spanish learning accessible, effective, and fun for you.
